Moose on the Loose x two

On our way through Algonquin Park in Ontario, we crested the hill to see a crowd of people pulled over by the side of the road - a sure sign of moose. When we stopped, who should appear but a cow and calf almost directly adjacent to the car on the other side of the guard rail.

After some quick action to grab the camera, Cheryl was out of the car and heading up the road. That's when the Mom decided to cross the road.


That left behind the calf, who made little huffing noises as it followed reluctantly across the road.
